OUR MISSION
The mission of the Galena Park I.S.D. Special Education Department is to provide students with special needs a nurturing environment that provides valuable educational experiences designed to meet their unique needs.  This mission will be accomplished through developing a unified, collective vision for learning through the collaboration of parent, school personnel, and community members.

Galena Park I.S.D. provides a continuum of special education services and supports to meet the needs of eligible students with disabilities. We are dedicated to providing a free, appropriate public education to all children with disabilities who live in ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ. 

The Special Education staff are committed to providing services, supports and accommodations to students in the least restrictive environment in collaboration with parents, school personnel and community members.
